What information is obtained about you and what do we use the information for?

In order to register for any of our Law-Now services or other subscription services featured on our website, you will be asked to provide relevant personal information that we need to process your registration.

We may contact you by email or telephone. If you are a client or contact of the firm and we already have your address details, there may be times when you receive Law-Now information from us by post.
Sometimes we may contact you by phone, email or by post for research purposes relating to our website or to research opinion on proposed legal or business developments.
When you register for any of our Law-Now or other subscription services, the information you provide is for our purposes only. It is not shared with any third party organisations, individuals or entities. However, we may use third party processors to conduct research, process data or maintain our website, content or Law-Now service on our behalf.
On registration your information is stored in our Law-Now database. It is also copied to our firmwide central database so that CMS Cameron McKenna staff throughout our UK and international offices can see who is registered for our Law-Now services. As CMS Cameron McKenna is part of CMS, the organisation of European law firms, we may share your information with staff from these firms too. This means that your personal information will be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of protection and security procedures as the UK. Unsubscribe from Law-Now
Your personal information is retained by CMS Cameron McKenna LLP for the period of time that you are registered to one or more of our Law-Now services.
You can unsubscribe from Law-Now at any time. Unsubscribing from Law-Now means that you will no longer receive Law-Now emails and will not have access to the Law-Now archive on www.law-now.com.

Termination
CMS Cameron McKenna LLP reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to all or part of its website, or its range of Law-Now services, with or without notice.
