“I’ve been on two courses recently as part of the firm’s Partner Development Programme. Firstly, I attended a coaching skills course which taught me some useful new techniques in how to help the person you are coaching work out the answers for themselves, rather than spoon feeding them information. It’s a very effective way of enabling the people I manage to develop and grow.
I also attended a business development course which has shown me new ways to keep in touch with prospective clients. It also reinforced that growing business is all about building relationships and getting to know prospects on a gradual basis. Winning new clients is much more a long-term strategy than a quick fix.”
